Florida

The Law:

Felons on probation, in prison, or on parole cannot vote. In 2007, Florida revised its executive clemency rules to provide for the automatic restoration of rights to persons convicted of most non-violent offenses who complete their full sentence, including probation or parole, have no pending charges and pay restitution. Persons convicted of other crimes, including violent offenses, still face a possible lifetime ban.
